Registry Labels

Machine-readable eligibility. Human-readable claims.

Each CRU is minted with a set of standard registry attributes covering methodology, vintage, host country, sector and voluntary market eligibility.

Core attributes

  • Host country and jurisdiction of the underlying activity.
  • Methodology and version under which the CRU was issued.
  • Vintage year of the emission reduction or removal.
  • Sector (nature-based / engineered / renewable energy, etc.).
  • Purpose statement attached at retirement.

Voluntary market labels

Voluntary market labels are optional and application-specific (e.g., sector-specific removal labels, co-benefit labels). All labels are governed by published criteria and can be independently verified against the public registry.
